Hull City are relegated from the Premier League after Crystal Palace defeat

The Tigers needed to win at Selhurst Park to keep their hopes of staying up alive. But goals from Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke, Luka Milivojevic and Patrick van Aanholt condemned them to the Championship. Palace needed just a draw to guarantee their safety while Swansea, who won at Sunderland yesterday, can also start planning for another season in the Premier League. Hull have spent just one season in the top-flight, having won promotion last season via the play-offs.  They are expected to start next term with a new manager, with out-of-contract manager Marco Silva attracting interest from Watford and Southampton.
