Pablo Zabaleta to depart Manchester City at end of his contract this summer

Pablo Zabaleta will leave Manchester City at the end of the season, the club have announced. Zabaleta, 32, will leave City at the end of June when his contract expires after nine years with the club. The defender is one of six senior City players whose current deals run out in the summer, with the club saying that they will wait until the end of the season before deciding which of the remaining five will be offered new contracts.
A source has told ESPN FC that Zabaleta has decided to leave after failing to secure a two-year deal with City.
