2 men busted raping 13-year-old girl in church while members were praying in another room

Two men in Lagos, Nigeria, were handed over to police after they were caught raping a girl. Police identified the suspects as Joseph Bassey and Samuel Oriko. According to court documents, the men gang raped a 13-year-old girl in a room inside a church while the congregants were praying in the auditorium. The men and the victim live in the same neighborhood not far from the church. The men lured the girl into the church, and when she came inside, they forced her to remove her pants. The men then took chances raping her. According to police, Oriko raped the girl first and Bassey took over before they were caught in the act. The men were held down and handed over to police.
They were charged with unlawfully having carnal knowledge and are being held on N1 million (about $3,200) bail.
