Police released a shocking video, which shows a man stuffing faeces into several ATMs. Police in China launched an investigation after several ATMs in Sichuan were found to have been vandalized and broken. Surveillance videos from all of the locations showed that one man was behind it all.
The video showed the man who was wearing a motorcycle helmet, pouring motor oil on the ATMs to disrupt the system. He then shoved a bag filled with poop into the slots of the machines. After breaking ATMs for about one month, police finally caught up with the suspect who was identified as Mr. Lu and he was arrested.
When police asked Lu why he was dousing the ATMs in motor oil and filling them with excrement. He told police that by doing so, he would cause the machines to malfunction and spit out cash.
However, he admitted that he had no such luck. To the contrary, it will cost him lots of money as he will likely be ordered by the court to pay restitution for the damage he caused.
