Tons of liquid chocolate spill onto Polish roadway

Tons of liquid chocolate spilled onto a roadway in Poland early Wednesday morning after a truck overturned. The crash occurred at 5:30 a.m. and sent liquid chocolate spilling onto a section of the A2 motorway between Warsaw and Pozan.
"In unknown circumstances the driver of a heavy goods vehicle transporting a liquid in the form of chocolate hit a barrier, as a result of which the substance spilled out onto two lanes," a police spokeswoman said.

The spillage caused portions of the roadway to close and forced drivers to take a detour. Officials said large quantities of water would be required to clear the liquid chocolate off the road.
"The cooling chocolate is worse than snow," Slupca fire brigade senior brigadier Bogdan Kowalski said.
