Pokemon Go creators taken to court in Netherlands over protected beaches

Thousands of Pokémon Go players have swarmed beaches on a small coastal town in the Netherlands, prompting authorities to reach out to the game’s creators out of concern for the protected areas. Niantic Labs officials never responded, though, so the Hague is taking them to court. As wind and waves batter the beaches, the Hague is worried the unprecedented swarms of visitors to the Pokestops in Kijkduin are damaging the sand dunes. Niantic Labs will respond to those concerns at a court date, set for Oct. 11, the Guardian reports.
“We had no other choice” the authorities said in a statement.
The municipality added that the specific aim of taking Niantic to court is “to ban these small virtual animals” in protected areas, as well as from the streets between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
“Kijkduin will remain an attractive place for Pokémon hunters, but there will be less trouble for the residents and the damage to protected areas will be limited,” said the Hague in the statement.

10 benefits of pole dancing

Pole dancing is one of those activities that targets your entire body but also happens to be good for the mind and soul. And as it becomes more mainstream, we take a look at the benefits pole dancing can have as a fitness regime and sport.

1. Core workout
“Pole is a fantastic core work out. You won't ever have to do sit ups or crunches again, and with time, that six pack will be yours. As someone who did weights at gym religiously four to five times a week before I started pole I can confidently say that no amount of gym gave me the same toned body that pole does”, says Joanna Pawelczyk.

2. Cardio
At first glance, most people won't consider pole dancing to get their heart rates up, but this is where they're wrong because “cardiovascular activity is a key element to pole dancing routines. It can be quite an exhausting workout as you're doing lots of hectic strength moves in a row for three to four minutes. It's amazing for your body.

Earlier this month, the Islamic State (IS) group - to which Boko Haram has pledged allegiance - announced that Shekau was being replaced as leader.
IS said he had been replaced by the lesser-known Abu Musab Albarnawi, but Shekau said he was still in charge. "Oh tyrants, I'm in a happy state, in good health and in safety," Shekau said in the 40-minute video posted to YouTube. In August the Nigerian army said that Shekau had been seriously wounded in the shoulder in an air raid in which several commanders were killed.
The military has yet to comment on the latest video. A military campaign launched in 2014 has seen Nigerian troops reclaim large tracts of territory in the northeast of the country from the Islamist group.

The function of the small loops at the back of men’s shirt

Before hangers and wardrobes were invented, people used to hang their clothes on hooks or pegs so that they don’t get crushed or wrinkled. They used to hang the shirt on the hooks using those little loops. The East Coast sailors were the first ones to think of this. They started hanging their shirts on the hooks of the ship while changing clothes or storing them for future use. This small detail soon found its way to the streets. Finally in the 1960s, the trend was adopted by the US when they started making Oxford button-down shirts. The makers also gave this loop a name and called it locker loop. However, it had a few other names as well, such as fag tag, fruit loop, and fairy loop.
