Pandemic canning is so popular, stores are running out of jars and other supplies
Haley Lancaster, a high school teacher in Vincennes, Ind., had always been intimidated by the idea of canning. She remembered her grandmother’s shelves lined with gleaming rows of giant jars full of beans and other vegetables, and the pressure cooker she used to fill them.
But with more time at home after the coronavirus shut down her school and all the other activities that kept her busy, Lancaster thought it suddenly seemed doable, maybe, in the way that we’re all trying things we never did before. Home schooling, DIY haircuts, TikTok dance challenges? Sure, we’re game.
She had already tried making sourdough bread, another home-cooking trend that flourished in the early days of the pandemic. And so she went online and learned, grabbed a few recipes — for water-bath canning, which doesn’t require a pressure canner like her grandmom used — and supplies at a local store. She made peach salsa that was a hit with friends and family.

According to the Electoral commission, Drogba's bid was rejected as two of the names he submitted as his sponsors were ruled not to have the necessary authority to be his sponsors.
Apart from that, Ivorian club African Sport officials and a body representing referees, AMAF-CI, support federation's current 1st vice president Sory Diabate as their nominee, a vital endorsement that would have helped Drogba's presidential ambitions.

Bayern defeats PSG to win Champions League
A second-half winner from Kingsley Coman proved the difference as Bayern Munich were crowned winners of the 2020 Champions League at PSG’s expense.
Following a tentative opening gambit from both sides, the first real chance fell to PSG and Neymar.
The Brazilian broke free down the left-hand side and fired a low shot that brought a fine save from Manuel Neuer with the inside of his outstretched leg. The ball rebounded back to Neymar, but his cut-back from an acute angle was once again repelled by the German stopper.
That close call appeared to spring Bayern Munich into action, with Robert Lewandowski coming within the width of the woodwork of opening the scoring.
"Barcelona re-signing Neymar is 'impossible' - Club president Josep Bartomeu says
Barcelona president, Josep Maria Bartomeu has ruled out Neymar's return back to the La Liga club.

Last week, there were reports that Barca could make another attempt to re-sign the 28-year-old following their's 8-2 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich. But Bartomeu has now insisted that it's impossible for the club to bring the Brazilian star back.
'Going for a player when the club he is in doesn’t want to sell him is impossible, Bartomeu told Barca TV.
'Last summer we tried. He is a player who, with the pandemic situation, his club does not put him in the market.
'It is normal. The big clubs want great players.'
Earlier today, Barcelona appointed former Netherlands manager, Ronald Koeman as it's new manager following the sacking of Quique Satien.
