Family stickers: potential danger?

Stick figure decals are easy to apply vinyl window family car stickers, available in several themes and sizes or customized to your request. There have been recent debates on the dangers of having this stickers on your cars as it gives predators information that could put your family at risk. The image above for example shows a family of six, with the parents having three girls and a boy.

According to an article on Parents24, while this may give some insight into your family, these small hints could let a potential predator know what to expect when they come to your home. For example, the picture above could mean that dad is away at war and little Billy plays football, coupled with the small guard dog and you are a prime target for being burgled, abducted or worse

So the question is, should stick figure family decals be discouraged/banned?
