Restaurant adds poo-flavored curry to menu

Poo-flavored curry
Curry Shop Shimizu is a new restaurant in Tokyo that has, in an attempt to be original, add a poo-flavored curry to their menu. Curry Shop Shimizu had set out from the start to be “the world’s first” something. After extensive brainstorming it appeared that curry which tasted like literal crap probably isn’t being sold anywhere else in the world. So, they decided to do just that. The restaurant is founded by a Japanese chef, Ken Shimizu, who has put many years of experience into the recipe which he feels captures the taste and consistency of poop impeccably, RocketNews24 reports.
According to a press release, this flavor is apparently a combination of the extreme bitterness of its two main ingredients goya (bitter gourd) and senburi (swertia japonica) tea. The texture is achieved by blending cocoa powder and water in just the right balance. Despite the horrid taste and feel of Shimizu curry, it’s actually some healthy sh*t.

Curry Shop Shimizu places the nauseating plate on the menu despite negative feedback from its own marketing survey. Out of 400 young adults polled, only 5.7 percent said they were excited to go while a whopping 75 percent were adamant about never stepping foot in the restaurant. About 10.5 percent of those asked said they were not totally turned off by the idea, but they'd still never go.
