Arsene Wenger named EPL manager of the month

Arsene Wenger has received the Premier League Manager of the Month award for the 15th time in his career, putting him second behind 27-time winner Sir Alex Ferguson. The Frenchman had a fine October, overseeing four wins and watching Arsenal emerge as one of the front-runners to become English champion. Wenger counts the comprehensive 3-0 victory over Manchester United as his favourite match of the month.
"It was the highlight because there are very few matches in your life where it all clicks perfectly in the first 20 minutes and that was one of those games," he said.
The 66-year-old fought off the likes of Manuel Pellegrini and Claudio Ranieri to claim the award. When the Gunners return to domestic action on Nov. 21, they face a trip to one of the league's finest defences in West Bromwich Albion.
