The offensive picture drawn by the teacher |
I’m positive a lot of parent would be outraged if they discover their kid’s teacher is drawing sexually explicit images on their kid’s workbook, especially when it is not academically related. Such is the case of Teacher Kim Juzdowski, a language arts teacher at Chapin High in El Paso, Texas, who reportedly admitted daubing the rude graffiti on her student’s work, and his mum, Sandra Green, is urging the school to take action. She claims she did the unthinkable because the boy was not trying hard enough
The furious mum has since received an apology in an email from the teacher, but believes the school should take action and has lodged an official complaint. However, education chiefs have reportedly told Mrs Green they won't be taking further action against Mrs Juzdowski because she "admitted it".

"I'm an educator myself so I said, there's no way the teacher really did this."
When questioned, Mrs Juzdowski reportedly admitted drawing the penis across the student's assignment because he wasn't working hard enough in class.
Mrs Green said she later received an email from the teacher.
The teacher apparently wrote: “I'm sorry (blank) took offense and I totally understand if you would like to meet with an administrator and have him moved."
Mrs Green said: “The teacher admitted to embarrassing the children rather than punishing them.”
And she is upset educators have not removed Mrs Juzdowski from the school. She told the news station: “Their reasoning was that she admitted it.
“Had she denied it she would have been removed from the school immediately. But because she admitted it they said it shows she's willing to change."
In a statement to The Huffington Post, the El Paso Independent School District said Mrs Juzdowski had admitted acting inappropriately.
Spokesman Gustavo Reveles said: "She understands the drawing was in bad taste and that it was inappropriate for the type of relationship a teacher should have with a student."
The local education office told ABC7: “The teacher has acknowledged the inappropriate behaviour in class.
"The incident is being dealt with administratively. We're working to accommodate the request of the parent and what's best for the student."
Mrs Green is now moving her son to another school.
She said: “If it was a man teacher doing it to a female student, they would have taken this totally seriously.
“But because it's the other way around I think they're letting the light side go on it. And I just want him out of the environment."
Mrs Green has filed a grievance to get her son transferred to another school with transportation provided. Mrs Juzdowski has a lawyer, who told ABC7 she does not wish to comment.
