Jay McGuinness crowned winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2015

Jay McGuinness, of boyband The Wanted, has been crowned the winner of Strictly Come Dancing 2015. McGuinness and partner Aliona Vilani came bottom of the leaderboard at the end of the final show on Saturday night but triumphed in the public vote to take home the glitterball trophy. McGuiness looked shocked when co-hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced his name – he was not the best on the night, but the public vote secured his win.
“I feel spaced-out, really weird. It’s been one of the most special things I’ve ever done,” he said.
EastEnders’ Kellie Bright had to settle for joint runner-up alongside former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote.
