Mollie came 3 months early
Mollie Perrin was born weighing just one pound has been pictured celebrating her first Christmas after defying the odds to survive. Mollie Perrin's parents Stephanie, 34, and James, 38, were told to expect the worst when their daughter was born three months premature.
A picture of Mollie with her dad's wedding ring around her arm - illustrating how tiny she was - went viral after she was born on April 27. But after 20 weeks in hospital Mollie defied the odds and has finally been allowed home. She now weighs 8lbs and is preparing to spend her first Christmas with her family, a moment they never thought they would share.

Stephanie, from Hull, East Yorkshire, said: "She's now seven-months-old and we can't wait to enjoy our first Christmas Day as parents with our little Mollie.
"She's still so tiny - but looking back at the first photos of her with James's wedding ring around her arm brings tears to my eyes.
Mollie's dad, James added: "At our first scan, the doctors told us we can only expect to have her for three weeks.
"When they told us, we both just broke down.
"There were so many questions we had to ask."

Mollie was diagnosed with Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR), a disorder that means the placenta does not work properly but at the end of August Stephanie and James were finally able to bring their little Mollie home, the Mirror reports.
