Taxi drivers stripped naked at colleague’s funeral

It was a shocking and bizarre sight when taxi drivers began to strip naked at a funeral on Saturday morning at the Ga-Rankuwa zone 6 house of the dead Marcus “Robero” Mafora, South Africa. They brought the traffic to a standstill by sticking their bums out the windows of moving taxis all the way to Kgabalatsane Cemetery. Some danced on the back of a police truck during the celebration. The mourners who went naked apparently were copying the dead man who was known to undress, get drunk and dance at his colleagues’ funerals.
Some of the drivers said this was what Robero did and wanted – and he even did a lot worse!
Although the police were at the scene to monitor the situation, a mourner said the act  “ breaks down the process of burying the dead,”
