Another ‘Brexit’ for England as they crash out of Euro 2016

England crashed out of Euro 2016 after a shock 2-1 defeat to Iceland, and the tiny country of just 330,000 sealed a quarterfinal date with France on July 3 in Saint-Denis. Iceland, in their first major tournament, fielded the same side for the fourth straight game, while England made six changes, including Raheem Sterling in for Adam Lallana.
European commentators have been laughing at England's ability to crash out of Europe twice in one week, with a Spanish football pundit remarking on TV: "It's not been their week."
In Iceland, the National newspaper Morgunbladid hailed the win by writing:  "Iceland are among the best footballing nations in Europe. That is clear after this historic victory over England in Nice."
