Faces of men who kidnapped a police officer and raped her


Two men were arrested on a charge of rape after allegedly kidnapping a police officer and raping her, according to police in Kansas. Johnson County police said that they have arrested 24-year-old William David Luth of Blue Springs, and 21-year-old Brady Allen Newman-Caddell of Independence, after being accused of abducting the police officer and sodomizing her. Both suspects were charged with two counts of rape and one count each of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sodomy. They were booked into jail, and bail has been set at $1 million each. According to the police investigation, the 20-year-old police officer was abducted about 11:30 p.m. on Friday. She was in a parking lot and on her way to work at Central Booking.
