Mexico: Aquarium tank holding 13 sharks bursts, flooding the city's nearby streets

A glass aquarium holding 13 sharks tank has cracked open sending water gushing into the streets. The footage is akin to a horror film as torrents of water flood the nearby area with the creatures still lurking in the tank watching in wait. Emergency services were called when a panel detached from the base of a pool at the aquarium in the city of Mazatlan, in the western Mexican state of Sinaloa. An 80cm section of acrylic glass reportedly detached and collapsed causing the leak - but luckily the hole was not big enough for the sharks or other fish to escape. The pool housed 13 sharks and various other fish but all were successfully transferred to other tanks, and happened while the aquarium was closed.
