Mother beats 4-year-old son to death with stick for dropping an egg

A mother flew into a rage after her son dropped an egg on the floor, causing it to crack, according to police in New York. The New York Police Department said that they have arrested 26-year-old Zarah Coombs, after being accused of using a stick to kill 4-year-old Zamair Coombs. Zarah has been charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. According to the criminal complaint, Zarah had been watching her three young children when Zamair dropped a raw egg on the floor.

Zarah, who was overwhelmed by watching so many young children, flew into a rage and used a stick to beat Zamair. Zamair suffered bruises on his body and fell unconscious. Zarah then placed her son in a tub of water. When Zarah’s boyfriend, Jamari Richardson, came home, he found Zamair submerged in the tub full of water. Richardson, who was not the child’s father, pulled Zamair out of the tub and performed CPR. He then called the police. Zamair was rushed to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
