Woman who killed her boyfriend dismembered body in front of 10-year-old daughter because he was too heavy


A woman admitted to cutting up the body of her murdered boyfriend in front of her daughter, according to police in Texas. The Baytown Police Department announced the arrest of 30-year-old Cierra Alexis Sutton, who was accused of murdering 32-year-old Steven Coleman. Sutton is facing numerous charges with the most serious being second-degree murder. Sutton is currently being held in jail without bail. According to the police investigation, Sutton and Coleman had an argument on the night of the murder.



After Coleman fell asleep, Sutton grabbed a gun and shot her boyfriend to death. She then dismembered the body and loaded the limbs into her vehicle. Sutton then dumped the limbs in several garbage bins. Sutton's 10-year-old daughter was home, and witnessed the horrific crime. Two days after the murder, Sutton filed a missing persons report.
Sutton's friend called police to report that Coleman said is he ever goes missing, police should investigate his girlfriend. Sutton fled from Texas and went into hiding. Police found traces of blood in Sutton's apartment. Two weeks later, Coleman's torso was found in a landfill. Sutton's friends told police that she confessed to dismembering Coleman's body because it was too heavy to carry in one piece. Sutton was found in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was arrested.
