Truck drivers lined up their trailers across roads under bridge to save life of suicidal man who wanted to jump

Truck drivers are being hailed as heroes after they were seen giving hours of their time to save a suicidal man. The incident occurred in Detroit, Michigan, where police were alerted to a suicidal man who was standing on the edge of a bridge and wanted to jump off. Officers quickly stopped and redirected traffic. The only vehicles allowed to drive towards the bridge were semi trucks. Officers then asked the drivers for help.
The semi-truck drivers parked their trailers near the overpass to stop the man’s fall in case he decided to jump. It took police about 3 hours of negotiations to finally get the man to agree not to jump off the bridge.
