Police who arrived at home to investigate domestic dispute find man arguing with his parrot

People called police after hearing what appeared to be a disturbing dispute between a couple. They called the police to investigate the domestic disturbance in Germany only to discover that the man was arguing with a parrot. A resident of Loerrach called the emergency number on Monday to inform police of his concern about the loud cries coming from an apartment next door that had been going on for some time.
Police said that officers who went to the scene found that there was a big argument between a 22-year-old man and a parrot. The man told officers that he was upset with the bird, which belonged to his girlfriend. The parrot responded with shouts and loud noises of its own. The police said the bird could not talk, but he could bark like a dog. Since no one was hurt, the officers left the home.
