Demi Lovato was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles because of a heroin overdose.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old singer was taken to the hospital today before noon from her home in the Hollywood Hills and she is currently being treated. Her condition is currently unknown.
Demi has fought substance abuse for years. She had been 6 years sober from alcohol, cocaine and Oxycontin but last month she released a song called "Sober" where she revealed she had relapsed.
Demi was scheduled to go on the road this week and had a show scheduled in Atlantic City but TMZ sources say she's been struggling.
