Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson in coma after being knocked out


Canadian boxer Adonis Stevenson is now in an induced coma in hospital after losing the World Boxing Council light heavyweight title to Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk. The 41-year-old was knocked out in the 11th round in Quebec City on Saturday night.



Stevenson was put on a stretcher and was taken to the hospital with concussion-like symptoms. He has since been put in a medically induced coma, his family told the Montreal Gazette.
