A woman has been arrested in Benin, Edo State by the State Ministry of Women Affairs for burning the hands of her granddaughter who ate noodles without her consent. She was said to have placed the little girl’s hands on a gas cooker till it cooked. The girl was said to be hungry when she went to eat the noodles without her grandmother’s permission.
