Why does Kate Middleton wear so many plasters?

Kate Middleton is rarely seen without her glossy loose curls, nude pump heels and colour co-ordinated clutch bag. And there's another accessory the Duchess of Cambridge, 37, often wears to her Royal events - a skin-coloured plaster. The Royal seems to be constantly nicking her hands and is often seen with a tell-tale plaster on her elegant fingers.

Earlier this week, the mum-of-three was pictured with a plaster on her right thumb when she appeared in camel-coloured culottes and a cream shirt at Chelsea Flower Show.
Did the green-fingered Duchess have an accident with her shears? This is far from the first time Kate has been papped sporting a plaster - as these pics reveal.

Nobody really knows why she does this.
