Dubai Ruler Shaikh Mohammad’s son dies of heart attack at aged 33

Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum,33, was the eldest son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the ruler of Dubai and also the Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, died yesterday of a heart attack. He graduated from Sandhurst in 2002, and was a keen sportsman.
Controversies have trailed the lifestyle of the dead Prince as he was reported to have drug problems.
Hundreds of relatives and officials gathered inside the Zabeel mosque in Dubai to pay their respects to the ruler's son.



His coffin, wrapped in the Emirati flag, was carried in by several of his brothers.
Prayers were said for the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum and his family.
His body will be buried in Umm Harir cemetery in Bur Dubai.
