Man digs up girlfriend's grave and sets coffin on fire because she haunted him in sleep

A man in Russia, recruited his friend to help him dig up his deceased girlfriend's grave because she was haunting him in his sleep.  Police arrested the two men for violating a corpse after digging up the coffin and setting it on fire. 30-year-old Yuriy Golvin and his 23-year-old friend were charged after a friend of the woman found the grave opened and her coffin burned.  Oleg Ivanov called police after seeing Olga Gileva's grave open. The gravesite is located in the Menshikovsky village.
Ivano also alerted police to a photo that was uploaded to social media by the 23-year-old man, showing either him or Golvin lying on top of the coffin.
Gileva, who was an orphan, committed suicide 5 years ago, when she was 17 years old. The teenager had been raised in an orphanage and was eventually placed with a family. According to her friend, Gileva became depressed when the family sent her back to live at the orphanage. She had a hard time dealing with the situation and committed suicide by hanging herself. Golvin said that he was being haunted and tormented by the deceased in his dreams. He consulted with a sorceress, who allegedly told him to burn the teen's body to stop the nightmares. He did as he was told and now, he will have to face the nightmare of spending time in prison. Golvin and his accomplice are facing 5 years in prison if convicted of the crimes.
According to reports, the coffin suffered some fire damage, but the body was not harmed.
