Eight drown after speedboat carrying 51 people capsizes off Borneo

At least eight people were killed and several others are still missing after a speedboat carrying 51 people capsized off Borneo in Indonesia. A search and rescue mission was launched when the boat, called the Anugrah Express, turned over while travelling to the North Kalimantan province on Monday. The boat's manifest listed 48 passengers with 40 pulled to safety and eight confirmed dead. Three others - thought to be infants that are usually not listed on the manifest - remain unaccounted for.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
