Mexican woman arrested in U.S. with $10 million worth of heroin in her car

Police in Mississippi announced the arrest of 2 women who had a baby in their car along with $10 million worth of heroin. Police said that the Rankin County Drug Interdiction Task Force Deputy seizes the large amount of heroin on Interstate 20. Police said that at about 9:15 p.m., the deputies pulled over a white Ford SUV on Interstate 20 in Rankin County for a traffic violation.
During the traffic stop, the women gave permission for officers to search the SUV. Police discovered 51 pounds of heroin concealed inside the vehicle. The driver was identified as 23-year-old Arlene Viridiana Moya of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The passenger and vehicle owner was identified as Trisha Lynne Ibarra of Laredo, Texas. Ibarra had her 3-month-old child were inside the vehicle. Rankin County Court Judge Tom Broome was contacted about the welfare of the child. The judge ordered the baby turned over to the custody of Child Protective Services.
Moya and Ibarra were arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of heroin and were transported to the Rankin County Jail.
