Teenager stabs her roommate to death because he was talking while she watching TV

A man died because he spoke too much while his roommate tried to watch a television show, according to police in Nevada. North Las Vegas Police said that they have arrested 19-year-old Dymund Ellis after being accused of killing her roommate, Jace Trevon Ernst, 25. Ellis has been charged with murder with a deadly weapon. She was booked into jail pending a bail hearing.
According to the police investigation, on Friday, Ellis was watching television when Ernst disturbed her by talking. Ellis told her roommate to shut up, but he refused.
Instead, Ernst responded by saying: “shut up bit**.”
Ellis ran to the kitchen of the home and grabbed a knife. She confronted Ernst and dared him to call her a bit** again.
When he did, Ellis stabbed Ernst in the chest. Ernst was taken to the University Medical Center, where he died. The friends of the victim and suspect were split about what happened.
Ellis’ friends claimed that the stabbing was an accident but Ernst’s friends said that she had threatened him with a knife 10 times over the past few months.
