Drunk passenger causes flight diversion

An Air Canada flight from Ottawa to Vancouver on Wednesday night was forced to make an unscheduled landing at James Armstrong Airport, Winnipeg when a female drunk passenger's behavior became unbearable.
Paulette Metuq, the 24 year old culprit was said to have been screaming, spitting and kicking on flight, forcing other passengers to move their seat. She has since been detained by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and charged with assault, causing bodily harm and mischief.
Isn't it high time planes come with in-built lockup rooms for deserving passengers?
