British comedian, Simon Brodkin who gatecrashed Blatter's press conference in Zurich, did the inevitable by walking up to the outgoing FIFA president on stage, interrupted his speech and threw a bundle of fake banknotes at him saying 'This is for North Korea 2026'.
Blatter said he made the decision to resign because his conscience told him to "do something" for the organization as he announced a new reformed task force. That was his first appearance since announcing his resignation as FIFA president in May.

Brute but nice. FIFA has grown into something ugly without check.
ReplyDeleteBeen waiting for when Blatter would be embarrassed publicly
ReplyDeleteI guess they'll have given it to North Korea if the money was channeled differently :)
ReplyDeleteI won't put it beyond them.
