According to a new research, London’s tourist attractions are the most googled in the world, News Republic reports.
Three of the capital's museums are the most searched-for museums across the globe, with the Science Museum coming out on top. The Natural History Museum is the 2nd while the British Museum is the 3rd. The New York Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Smithsonian Museum in Washington DC came in 4th  and 5th place respectively.
The research, which was carried out by London & Partners - the capital's official promotional company - to launch London's Autumn Season of Culture, also revealed that the capital is the most searched for city in the world to visit.
“London is without a doubt the cultural capital of the world,” said Boris Johnson.
”Tourists are flocking to our great city in ever-increasing numbers, drawn by our exceptional cultural attractions and landmarks.”
