San Francisco’s public urination problem causes light pole collapse

Driver narrowly escape being crushed by the pole
Peeing in public in San Francisco seems to be tipping to the dangerous side when a three-story lamp post corroded by urine snapped and fell, nearly killing a man. The man, who was driving by the bay when the street light pole crashed down on the hood of his car was missed by about a foot. Apparently, the base of the pole has rotten out from old age,  dog and human urine.
San Francisco is said to have a public-urination problem. People keep peeing in public and on private property, which is not only gross but also does damage to city buildings, sidewalks and more.
But San Francisco Public Works has come up with a solution to discourage public relief because the threat of a $500 fine just wasn't cutting it. The answer for the city is walls coated in hydrophobic paint. When someone goes to pee on one of the nine coated walls, the paint splashes any pee back onto the offender's shoes and pants.

Hydrophobic paint is meant to splash back pee unto offender's shoe or pants
