Heidi Faulkner, 36, from Hertfordshire spent three years slimming down from 16st(about 102Kg) to 8st (about 51kg) with the help of a gastric band but still wasn’t happy with the way she looked. She claimed her weight loss left her with a ‘wrinkly granny bum’. She went ahead to make corrections by undergoing a bottom-lift surgical procedure that went completely wrong.

According to her, "It had no shape, my buttocks were flat and exercise wasn’t making any difference." Heidi was able to save up £2,000 and decided to head to Prague for cut-price cosmetic surgery - a clinic where she'd previously undergone a successful tummy-tuck. But all wasn't well when she awoke after her bum-lift surgery to see two giant scars across her buttocks.
She added, "It looked just like a shark had come and taken a massive bite out of my bum. It was horrific. They called the surgeon who said it would be fine when the swelling went down."
Little did Heidi know all wouldn't be well after the swelling went down as the surgeon had removed so much fat her coccyx (tailbone) was left exposed. No longer was her bum-lift a couple; the surgery actually resulted in Heidi being completely unable to sit down. The mother-of-one turned to Channel 5 reality series Botched Up Bodies for help and saw Harley Street surgeon Patrick Mallucci to help sort out the problem. Heidi had to go under the knife back in the UK for an additional three hours while fat was taken from her knees and thighs to pad her bottom back out.
