Son who was given up for adoption as a baby now dating his mother after reuniting

 A mother of nine children was arrested after admitting to having a sexual relationship with her teenage son. Monica Mares of Clovis, New Mexico, was just 16 years old when she gave birth to her son and gave him up for adoption. One year ago, Mares, 36, reunited with her son, 19-year-old Caleb Peterson of Utah, via Facebook. The two connected and developed strong feelings for each other, and their relationship turned sexual. The mother and son lived together as lovers for some time, until their neighbor, who was angry over the incestuous relationship, exposed them.

The mother and son were arrested on charges of incest. The mother was ordered to stay away from all of her children. She and her son are facing 18 months in prison if found guilty. Mares said that her son is the love of her life. “I don't want to lose him. My kids love him. Nothing can come between us, not courts, or jail, nothing.”
The couple is determined to continue their relationship even if they have to move to a place where insect is not a crime.
