Couple finds entire house wrapped in Christmas paper after returning from honeymoon

A newlywed couple returned home from their honeymoon to discover their entire home had been gift-wrapped in Christmas paper. Shocked Faye Gilbert, 28, and her husband Karl Gibert, 27, found their walls, furniture and electrical appliances covered in festive wrap. They had been pranked by Faye’s sisters Sam Slade, 28, and Clare Caseley, 31, who used 20 rolls of paper along with their friend Kim Thornell, 35. The family came up with the idea after Karl posted a video on Facebook of another couple who had returned from their honeymoon to find their home trashed. Faye said she noticed a massive festive bow on her front door and thought that her family had kindly put up her Christmas tree for her.

“The door was wrapped up in a big bow so I expected to walk in with my tree up or something, but the whole house was wrapped.
“All of our family are big Christmas fans.
Her mischievous trio had spent an entire weekend and two weekday evenings covering everything from pictures on the wall to entire kitchen units.

Do you think it’s funny?
