Woman kills landlord, self days after giving birth

A depressed’ mother used a hammer to batter her landlord to death in his sleep before hanging herself days after giving birth Body of the victim, Adim Baba, 50, was found dumped in a bin with several skull fractures after the culprit, Tabussum Winning, 34, was found hanged at her flat. A post mortem gave the cause of Baba’s death as ‘blunt force trauma’ head injuries with a lack of ‘defensive’ injuries suggesting he suffered a ‘prolonged attack’ in his sleep, Daily Mail UK, reports. According to an inquest, after the death of Mr Baba, Mrs Winning, who was said to have suffered from depression for some time, met her partner and the father of her baby, Mr Yasin Nasir, at the flat. He told the court he had 'not noticed' the blood spatters on the wall and had 'no reason to think she had done something'.
The day before her death she had written a suicide note in Urdu which read:
"I, Tabassum Winning, of my own will am committing suicide. I have depressed myself and others and have done every bad thing of my own will."
Mr Nasir said he did not believe she would follow through with the act. He then took her to hospital after she complained of pain and fatigue, but she checked herself out and returned to the Essex Road, flat, where she was found dead by Mr Nasir.
Police authorities said;
“While we believe that no other people were involved in either death, we will be reviewing our evidence in light of the coroner’s ruling and comments.”
