Audi apologizes and pulls ad that compared women to used cars

Audi has apologized after a 34-second video ad caused a firestorm in China. The controversial commercial showed a woman before being compared to a used car. In the advertisement for an Audi second-hand car dealership in China, a bride and groom were seen getting ready to exchange vows.  The groom's mother suddenly walked down the aisle and then proceeded to go over to the bride.  She gave her future daughter-in-law "a final inspection."
The groom's mother pinched the bride's nose, looked behind her ear and looked into her blushing mouth.  Apparently satisfied with what she saw, the groom's mother returned to her seat. She then turned around and gave the groom a nod of approval. Her gaze then fell on the bride's breasts, causing the bride to quickly cover her chest. The ad then showed an Audi cruising along a highway with a message saying, "An important decision must be made carefully. Audi Approved: plus online 4S shop."
After the video went viral and the company received a lot of backlash, they apologized and pulled the ad.
