New app will alert you when your underarms start smelling bad

A new app will alert consumers when they start smelling badly so they can take action before anyone else around them notices anything. Konica Minolta, Inc., which is based in Tokyo, Japan, has announced that they will soon release the "KunKun" app. The app comes with a device that is able to detect all types of smells. The device connects with the user's cell phone, which alerts to when others can detect something smelly. The app and device were made by 43-year-old Hiroshi Akiyama for Konica Minolta, which is known to produce good cameras.
42-year-old Daisuke Koda, who helped make the device, said that people are not able to detect their own bad smells, but this device will help them avoid being embarrassed. Koda believes that those who will most benefit from the smell detector are office workers crammed into small spaces. With the simple press of a button, the device will try to detect chemicals that produce bad odors. The app will then rate the odor on a scale of 0 to 100. The app will also be able to detect bad pet smells, cigarette smoke and even when you wear too much perfume.
The device will cost around $250.
