11-year-old boy calls police and reports mother for driving drunk

Police in Oregon, are praising a young boy for reporting his other who was driving drunk. The Washington County Sheriff's Office wrote: "Doing the right thing sometimes is not easy, especially when you're 11 years old. We're really glad he did."
The woman was arrested for driving under the influence on Saturday, at around 9:30 p.m., after she was reported by her own 11-year-old son riding in the car with her. A breathalyzer test revealed her blood alcohol content level was nearly twice the legal limit.
"The Washington County Sheriff's Office urges all residents - irrespective of age and familial relations to possible suspects - to call 9-1-1 if they are witnessing an impaired driver on the road," police wrote on Facebook.
Police wrote on Twitter: "Deputy Gilderson conducted the driving under the influence investigation after the 11-year-old boy called 9-1-1 from his mother's car to report that she was driving drunk."
30-year-old Nicole Norris was charged with one count of driving under the influence. She is also facing a charge of child endangerment. The boy told police how much alcohol his mother drank, and that she hit a curb.
