Coronavirus: Football team wears protective face masks and gloves as they arrive in Milan for Europa League match with Inter (photos)


Inter Milan face Ludogorets in the Europa League last-32 on Thursday and ahead of the match, Ludogorets players have arrived in Milan wearing protective face masks and gloves amid the spread of coronavirus disease in northern Italy. All the squad and staff of the Bulgarian club wore protective face masks as they left the team bus on Wednesday evening to enter their hotel rooms in Milan.
After the killer virus spread into Italy this week, major Serie A matches were postponed by the Italian prime minister Giuseppe Conte,  while five other matches this weekend will also take place behind-closed-doors in order to protect public health as directed by the Italian government.



According to reports by the Italian Ministry of Health, there are 322 recorded cases of Coronavirus in Italy while 11 deaths have occurred from the virus.
Worldwide, there are 82,186 cases of the disease while 2,804 have died worldwide.
