Top Kenyan rugby player collapses and dies at home

Kenyan rugby star Tony Onyango has died. He died after collapsing in his house on the night of Tuesday, March 3. Sports journalist Eric Njiru said that the Kenya Sevens and Simba fullback had come home from training with his team when he later collapsed at his Ngong home.
"RIP to Kenya Simbas, Kenya 7s and KCB Rugby star Tony Onyango who died on March 3, 2020. Tony and I were friends since the days he played for Homeboyz Rugby and worked at Homeboyz Kenya," Eric Njiru posted.
Onyango leaves behind a wife and a son.
The Kenya rugby fraternity, members of the public and sports teams joined in sending condolence messages to the family of the deceased star.
