‘Dancing with the Stars’ fires hosts Tom Bergeron, Erin Andrews

“Dancing with the Stars” host Tom Bergeron said on Twitter Monday that he will not be returning to the show this fall.
Bergeron said he was “just informed” that the show “will be continuing without me.”
According to Newsweek, ABC and BBC Studios issued a joint statement confirming that Bergeron and Andrews had been fired. “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success. Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show.”

Andrews joined the show in 2014 after coming in third place on the show in 2010. She is the fourth woman to co-host with Bergeron.
“Dancing with the Stars” airs on Mondays on NBC. The judges are Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli. Tonioli has indicated he is returning.
