The Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has confirmed that the Boeing 777 wing segment found on Reunion island is from the missing Flight MH370. This would be the first real breakthrough in the search for the plane that disappeared over 17months ago. The debris was examined by international experts in France, who conclusively confirmed that it was from the aircraft.
In a statement, Mr Rasak said "the burden and uncertainty faced by the families" in the 515 days since the aircraft disappeared had been "unspeakable".
"We now have physical evidence that flight MH370 tragically ended in the southern Indian Ocean," he added
Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared in March last year en-route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 passengers and crew on board
