Drug smuggler hides 12 pounds of marijuana in spare tire


A drug smuggler from Canada, thought that he found the perfect spot to hide his marijuana from police, but it did not take long for border agents to find his stash, according to police in New York. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers at the Rainbow Bridge arrested the Canadian citizen after discovering about 12 pounds of marijuana in the vehicle he was driving. CBP officers at the Rainbow Bridge encountered 31-year-old Daniel Hancock from Niagara Falls, Ontario. The primary officer became suspicious of the driver and referred the vehicle for secondary inspection.
The subject was arrested and the narcotics were seized.
